I was raised in a loving family that supported one another no matter what. My Mom and Dad are very simple people and they raised me to be the same way.

Which is why I was shocked at the fact that whenever I did something great or had a great idea someone would always knock it down I coud not understand why because first of all I was just a kid and second of all I was not raised that way.

Until one day I was with a friend and someone made a comment at the way I played baseball( I was 12 years old). I got upset and thought I sucked but then this friend came to me and said, " don't let him get you down he's just jealous because he can't play".

Then it dawned on me!! Ofcourse!! why else?  - But I wondered why he couldn't admit that he like the way I played and that he wanted to learn. Instead he criticised me and distanced our relationship. Shame.

People today are  quick at judging other people before they hear the full story that is why the world lacks quality friendships. Mostly uneducated people judge others because they don't live the same lifestyle as they do but that brings us back to jealousy.

Jealousy is a symptom of a severe case of low self-esteem, and it’s a disease that can eat us alive. We all at some point suffer from low self-esteem. I just feel sorry for those who are dealing with jealous friends or family members.
Most people can’t see that jealous people are also the most fear-filled persons in the world. Jealous people usually feel inferior and insecure. To overcome these feelings, they base what they think of themselves, on the basis, of others’ opinion.

As you strive to reach your maximum potential, you are bound to meet many jealous people. Please be compassionate with them. They are sick and they need your help.
